1. Important Safety Instructions
1.1 Usage and Safety Precautions
- Never remove Air Raiders while on the playing field or in use.
- Always wear Air Raiders whenever shooting an airsoft gun and whenever in or near an area where airsoft guns are being shot.
- Air Raiders are designed to be effective with impacts up to 500 feet per second using 0.25-gram airsoft projectiles compliant with Specification F2679 or impact energy of up to 2.9 J.
- Observe at all times the rules of participation and the rules of airsoft gun handling.
- Additional protection, such as ear and full-face masks, may be appropriate when engaging in tactical sports activities.
- Failure to follow all these instructions may result in serious or permanent injuries.
- Please note that Air Raiders may comply with additional safety standards not listed in this manual. For more information on these standards, please contact support@trittech-us.com or visit www.trittech-us.com.
1.2 Lens Inspection and Replacement
- Check each lens before and after use. Replace the lens immediately if any cracks are observed anywhere on the lens.
- Leave the area of airsoft activity if the lens is subjected to a direct impact and develops a crack, fracture, or any damage. Replace the lens immediately.
- Leave the area of airsoft activity if the lens is subjected to a direct impact from an airsoft gun from a distance under 3 meters and inspect the lens.
- When Air Raiders are turned off, fogging may occur. Turn the Air Raiders on to remove fogging. Replace the Air Raiders lens after it has been used for one year.
- If the lens has smudges on it, use the provided microfiber cloth and gently scrub the smudges off. Avoid using any solvents or alcohol.
- If you wish to use a lens cleaning solution, use only a solution that is designed for cleaning eyeglass lenses. Do not use any substance that doesn't match the above description for cleaning or fogging prevention.
- Only use lenses that are specifically designed for the Air Raiders and are manufactured by Trittech. Never use Trittech lenses in other manufacturer’s eye protection.
1.3 Fitment for Different Head Sizes
- Air Raiders are designed to provide a universal fit for a wide range of head sizes. However, in some cases, you may find that the Air Raiders feel too small or require a more secure fit. In such instances, we recommend using the included Elastic Retention Strap to ensure a snug and more secure fit.
2. Instructions for Removing and Installing Lenses
Attention: Should the Trittech manufactured lenses be removed from Air Raiders frames and substituted with third-party lenses, please be aware that the product, as a whole, will no longer comply with safety standards, which include but are not limited to EN12312-1 and ANSI Z87.1. If the third-party lenses assert compliance with these standards, Trittech cannot be held responsible or liable for any and all third-party products, accessories, or components.
Removing Lenses
- Hold the glasses firmly with both hands, grasping the top and bottom of the frame.
- Apply upward pressure on the top of the frame while simultaneously pushing the lens outwards from the back.
- Continue this motion until the lens pops out of the frame.
- Repeat the process for the other lens, if applicable.
Installing Lenses
- With one hand holding the frame securely, insert the replacement lens starting at the nose bridge.
- Press the lens along the perimeter, using your fingers or thumbs, ensuring a secure snap into place.
- Verify that the lens is properly aligned and fully seated within the frame.
- Repeat the process for the other lens, if applicable.
If you encounter any difficulties or are unsure about removing or installing lenses in your Air Raiders, it is recommended to consult a professional optician or eyewear specialist for assistance. They possess the expertise and tools required to handle the lenses safely and accurately. You can also contact support@trittech-us.com for assistance.
3. How to Operate the Air Raiders
3.1 Fan Control
- Short press (<0.5s) and release: Turns on the fan.
- Short press while the fan is on: Adjusts the fan speed.
- Long press (>0.5s) and release: Turns off the fan.
- The system remembers the last speed setting chosen and returns to that speed when turned on.
- Fan speed sequence: OFF → VERY LOW → LOW → MED → HIGH → VERY LOW (repeat).
Important Note: Maintain Proper Airflow
Please do not cover the fans or fan vents on the Air Raiders. Blocking them will limit airflow, affecting performance and potentially causing fogging issues. Keep the vents clear for optimal operation.
3.2 Charging
- When charging and the device is off, the LED color indicates the charging status.
- The LED fades in and out slowly while charging, with the color indicating the approximate charge level.
- After about 45 minutes of charging, approximately 80% of the battery capacity is available.
- When the system is nearly fully charged, the LED changes to a solid green color.
- After being fully charged for 1 hour, the LED indicator turns off to preserve the state of charge.
- If charging while turned on, the LED will not indicate charge status to avoid visual distractions.
Note: When the battery is completely exhausted, the device will seem unresponsive. In this case, when you plug the device in for charging, the LED may not illuminate, but instead will be unresponsive while the battery trickle charges to recover from a deep discharge. Once the battery charges up enough the LED will begin illuminating normally. The battery will charge slower until it reaches the level that’s appropriate for normal charging.
FAST CHARGING: Ten minutes of charging will provide approximately one hour of runtime. You will notice that the LED won’t stay in the pulsing RED state for very long. The battery charges quickly from approximately 0-50%.
3.3 Temperature Protection
- The system will not charge if the battery temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C.
- Once the battery warms or cools to an acceptable level, charging will resume.
- Charging is slower if the temperature is between 0°C and 8°C.
3.4 Battery Check Mode
- When the system is turned off, holding the button for at least 0.5s activates Battery Check Mode.
- The LED lights up while the button is pressed to indicate the battery's state of charge.
3.5 Fan Mode
- When the system is turned on, the green LED blinks a number of times to show the current fan mode:
One blink: Very low speed
Two blinks: Low speed
Three blinks: Medium speed
Four blinks: High speed - If the battery state of charge is low (approximately 10% or less), the red LED flashes occasionally.
- If the battery is too low to turn on, the red LED flashes three (3) times when the button is pressed.
3.6 Low Battery Indication / Stealth Mode
- When the battery state of charge is low (approximately 10% or less) and the system is on, the red LED flashes occasionally.
- To disable or enable the low battery indication feature (enabled by default)
Turn the system off.
2. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
3. The LED will flash twice to indicate the status: - Two GREEN flashes: Low battery indicator DISABLED
- Two RED flashes: Low battery indicator ENABLED
Note: The system remembers this setting, but returns to the default (enabled) if the battery is completely exhausted.
CAUTION: DO NOT forcefully pull the gasket straight towards you during removal to prevent breakage of the gasket clips.
Installing the Full Seal Gasket
- Align the small clip on the full seal gasket with its respective slot on either side of the inner air vent on the Air Raiders frames. Note the presence of slots on both sides when viewed as if putting the frames on.
- Apply gentle force to ensure the clip is fully seated. Exercise caution to avoid excessive pressure, which may lead to clip breakage.
- Once one clip is inserted, align the two tabs in the middle of the full seal gasket with the open slot on the inside of the Air Raiders frames and insert the tabs until the middle part of the gasket is now flush against the inner part of the frames.
- Insert the next small clip on the full seal gasket with its respective slot on the opposite side of the inner air vent on the Air Raiders frames.
- Ensure that the nose portion of the gasket is properly aligned with the nose portion of the Air Raiders frames.
Removing the Full Seal Gasket
- Pull from the center of the full seal gasket to make the middle tabs visible and unattached from the frames. Exercise caution to avoid excessive force, which may lead to clip breakage.
- Maintain a flexed state to prevent the gasket from returning to its original position. You will need to use one hand for holding the gasket in the flexed state and the other for removing the clips from the frame's slots.
- Start by exerting force to remove the clips from one side of the gasket, aiming to detach the clip from the slot in the frame. Make sure you're removing the gasket in the opposite direction from its initial insertion.
- Once one small clip is free, repeat the same process for the opposite clip.
5. How to Use the Elastic Retention Strap
- Locate the Elastic Retention Strap included with your Air Raiders.
- Identify the clips on each end of the strap. These clips are labeled with an "L" and an "R" to signify left and right, respectively.
- The "L" clip corresponds to the rear left temple if you are holding the glasses as if you are about to put them on.
- The "R" clip corresponds to the rear right temple if you are holding the glasses as if you are about to put them on.
- Turn the clip on the elastic retention strap until the locking mechanism aligns with the slot on the frame's temples.
- Attach the "L" clip to the rear left temple and the "R" clip to the rear right temple.
- Place the Air Raiders on your head, positioning them comfortably over your eyes.
- Adjust the length of the strap by pulling the adjustment clip to the desired position.
- Fasten the strap securely, ensuring that it provides a snug fit and is not too tight or too loose.
6. Storage and Travel
- Store the Air Raiders in the provided box for traveling and/or short-term storage.
- For extended storage, store the Air Raiders in the provided box and store them in a fire-safe area.
- Charge your Air Raiders at least once every 6 months and store charged to prevent over-discharge. Store in a flame-resistant, non-pressurized, low humidity container away from sunlight.

WARNING: Read all instructions before using or charging.
Air Raiders are powered by lithium polymer (LiPo) batteries. LiPo batteries are extremely volatile and must be handled with proper care. Failure to follow instructions below can be dangerous and may result in fire, property damage, personal injury, and/or even death.
- Adult supervision is always required when charging Air Raiders. DO NOT leave Air Raiders unattended while charging. Unplug within the hour after charging is complete.
- Charge your Air Raiders away from anything flammable. Unplug the charger immediately if you notice any deformation of the Air Raiders around the battery area. Charge only in the recommended temperature range of 40-90°F.
- Do not charge Air Raiders with a NiMh/NiCd charger or anything else not purchased from Trittech.
- Inspect your Air Raiders before use or charging. Contact support@trittech-us.com immediately if your Air Raiders are deformed, swollen, or hot. Place your Air Raiders in a fire-proof container until further instruction from Trittech.
- Do not modify or alter any components on your Air Raiders.
- Air Raiders contain reusable and recoverable resources. If you wish to dispose of your Air Raiders, wrap them in a bag and drop them off at a local waste facility. Do not dispose in fire, water, or household waste.
- Never discharge Air Raiders with a discharger. If the fans on your Air Raiders are spinning but not projecting air, stop using. Over-discharging may result in fire.
- If you believe the LiPo batteries in your Air Raiders are damaged, turn off the Air Raiders immediately and place them in a fire-safe area and monitor for 30 minutes. Contact Trittech immediately or dispose with caution and care.
